So, I thought I'd start with my own weird feedback comment story. This one is a classic. A few years back I was selling messenger bags on eBay, they were the cheap canvas and vinyl type. At the time they proved to be quite popular with young males and sold to the US and UK as well as Australia. The price point was AU$14.99 plus $4.50 shipping ($9.50 to US), so not high quality or exclusive, just a nice simple canvas bag.
You can imagine my reaction when I received the following feedback comment from a young fellow in the US. ""Fast delivery but the bag has leather and I'm vegetarian :( "" wot the???? I'm not sure what he was smoking or how long he had been a vegetarian, but I assured him not to worry as the insert was vinyl, not leather.
I had suggestions from a couple of friends as to how to respond to the feedback;
response 1. Our village has lost it's idiot, has anybody seen our idiot?
response 2. We guarantee that no 'Vinyls' were harmed in the manufacture of this product.
