Wow, just returned from the PeSA Summit in Sydney Australia. I was fortunate enough to be asked to MC (master of ceremonies) the event. It was a really great gig and so much fun. Over 320 delegates turned out to hear speakers from both Australia and the US deliver a great range of info and advice on how to 'power up' their eBay businesses. Delegates spoke directly to senior executives of eBay, Paypal, Channel Advisor and many other important players in this space.
Without doubt the most outstanding contribution to the event was from John Lawson of colderICE in Atlanta Georgia (USA) with his entertaining and challenging expose on Social Marketing. Not only was John able to clearly define social networking and it's benefits, he was also able to explain and detail the pathway to monetise the whole phenomenon.
